Yes we believe and we've made it. We've come to dance and look great with the reputable dance organizations of the University. We may be small, we may be few, but we'll always stand tall and dance tall and prove to you we deserve to be honored as well.

July 4, 2007 at 3 pm and 7 pm shows of PUSH ON UP goes MTV in the UP Theater, the UP DanceSport Society did a splendid opening performance with the UP Streetdance Club, UP Filipiniana Dance Troupe and the UP Varsity Pep Squad, doing a fusion of dance genres to Happy Feet's version of Boogie Wonderland.

UP DanceSport also did a dance together with the UP Table Tennis Varsity Team, proving that the racket players not only can move their feet from behind the pingpong table but on the dance floor as well. They did a traditional paso doble and moved their hips to rumba Music and Lyrics' famous song, Way Back Into Love.

UP DANCESPORT GOES INDEPENDENT

On the 12th of June 2007, some members of the UP DanceSport Society took part in the 109th Independence Day Celebration entitled Kalayaan 2007 Sama-sama Tayo Tungo sa Pagasenso at the Quirino Grandstand. They danced together with other invited dancesport performers to live chacha and jive music played by the AFP General Headquarters Band as part of the tribute to the contribution of brass bands in the merrymakings in Philippine history.

Later that afternoon, they performed a Latin Medley in the CHK Freshmen Orientation held at the Vanguard Rooftop.
